More Compact Than I Thought
Yesterday was a run of the mill kind of day. Not much happened. I just worked, ate and exercised.
First of all, my eats for the day.
I started with overnight oats.
For lunch I had a really tasty salad.
I had cous cous seasoned with cumin, garlic salt and paprika, grated carrot, chickpeas and olives on top of some shredded green cabbage and a bit of cream cheese on the side.
It was a perfect lunch for the warm, spring-like day we had.
For dinner I had mushroom fajitas again. These seem to be a weekly staple at the minute. I can’t get enough of them.
Jimmy went to the shop last night and bought a treat for me.
Yum. I ate far too many of these.
Good job I went running. I’m doing well with my March Fitness Challenge, so far.
Yesterday I ran along Canal Saint Martin, which is right next to my apartment. It was during this run that I realised how compact Paris really is. I was only running for 15 minutes when I came to the July Column at Bastille. To get here using the metro last week it took Jimmy and I at least 30 minutes! I might just have to start walking everywhere.
This is the map of my run. According to this I ran 4.4 miles. It took me 32:39. It was completely flat, but that’s still fast for me. Much faster than I’ve been running the past few weeks. I’ll take it though! Who am I to argue with the map on the internet?
Bia was tired just hearing about my run…
