30 Minute at Home (hostel) Workout

After four relaxing months in Yogya, Jimmy and I decided to move on this week to start our travels around more of Indonesia. We’ve only been on the road since Friday and I already feel like so much has happened. Unfortunately not all of it has been good as our camera was stolen on the train. With no way of recovering it and no way for Jimmy to carry on his HDR photography blog without it, we had to fork out for a new camera immediately. On the plus side, it was an upgrade of the old one, so Jimmy can capture even better shots now. Apart from that, we’ve had a fun few days. We’ve seen amazing sights at Mount Bromo and Ijen crater and met some lovely people along the way. Our days have been hectic. Getting up, sometimes as early as 2:45am, to hike or see the sunrise has meant I haven’t had the energy to exercise when I finally make it to my hostel on a night. I must add that I have been doing some moderate exercise in the form of hiking, so I’m not completely lazy.

Ijen Crater - proof that I've been hiking!

I arrived in Bali yesterday. Things are much more relaxed here and it’s small enough to mean I don’t have to travel for a whole day to make it to my next destination. I’m looking forward to getting in some swimming, running and my own exercieses in my hostel room. Here is a workout I’ve been doing recently that I found on Pinterest . It’s quick and great for working your whole body. Unfortunately I can’t find the original source. If anyone knows, please tell me!

30 jumping jacks

5 press ups

25 high knees

7 burpees

10 crunches

7 squats

5 press ups

1 minute wall sit

Repeat this sequence 3-5 times. It takes me about 30 minutes to do this 3 times.
